Covid-19 Testing
Preventive Measures are currently offering COVID-19 testing at locations in Washington, DC, and soon in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Testing is conducted on-site and protocols are provided for each building at the time of scheduling. At the time of your appointment, our clinical staff will administer the PCR/NAAT test, with results available the same day
(DC only) if the test is administered by 3:00 PM EST. Tests administered after 3:00 PM or in Allentown, PA will have results in 1-3 business days.

Overview

If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or think you may have COVID, it is recommended that you stay away from others as much as possible, wear a mask at all times and schedule an appointment to get tested. We often have appointments available on the same day, at no cost to you.

If your test is completed at one our Washington, DC locations, we will provide results by email within the same day if your test is administered before 3:00 PM EST. If your test is administered after 3:00 PM, or you get tested at our Allentown, PA location, we will provide results within 1-3 business days of your test.

If you test positive, continue to quarantine and follow the CDC’s isolation guidelines. If you are having trouble breathing or experiencing any of these warning signs, seek medical care immediately. Talk to your doctor to see if there is a COVID treatment available for you.
