An experienced Payroll Specialist will be responsible for all payroll-related tasks. The Payroll Specialist’s responsibilities include collecting and reviewing employee information and working hours, calculating wages, preparing, and processing employee payments, and maintaining accurate payroll records. To be successful as a Payroll Specialist you should be able to investigate and resolve payroll issues and ensure strict compliance with company and regulatory standards. An outstanding Payroll Specialist should also have excellent people skills and a high numerical aptitude. It is required to uphold confidentiality and discretion to be in this position.
A successful candidate for this position must have an entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to work in a fast-paced organization. You must have a strong desire to assist in growing the office and providing quality customer service to our employees. Must always be able to multi-task and maintain professional conduct. Employee must be detailed oriented, highly organized, and results-driven. Must possess the ability to deal effectively with a diverse group of individuals at all organizational levels. Commitment to excellence and high standards, as well as the ability to work independently and as a member of the Preventive Measures team. Demonstrate excellence in both internal and external customer service. Understand HIPAA compliance, corporate compliance, and employee confidentiality. Ensure and/or remain in compliance with local, state, federal regulations, and company policies.
