PM MyWay FAQs
What is PM MyWay?
PM MyWay is an a la carte offering of self-pay mental health services designed to help you take control of your behavioral health experience. The services included in this product are psychiatric evaluations, medication management, diagnostic assessments, and various types of therapy (individual, group, family, and couples). Self-pay care allows you to access the same services without the constraints of insurance providers and intensive paperwork.
Why is PM MyWay Self-Pay only?
Paying out of pocket has many advantages. One of the main advantages is that with self-pay, the therapist is not required to assign the patient a diagnosis or share medical information with insurance companies. This allows your care to remain private, flexible, and without the constraints of insurance and paperwork attached to your file.
Can I use my Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) card to pay for services?
Absolutely! These accounts operate as cash would and are eligible forms of payment for self-pay services.
What is a 1500 form?
In some cases, your insurance company may cover PM MyWay services on a reimbursement basis. Check with your insurance company for specific eligibility and guidance, but in most cases, a diagnostic assessment or psychiatric evaluation is required to be eligible. Once these services are completed, you may request a 1500 form from our Intake Coordinator to file with your insurance company.
